The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 pound Ziti (may use penne, or other short, tubular pasta)
  • Table salt for cooking pasta
  • 1 pound Whole-milk cottage cheese (2 cups (may us 1%))
  • 3 ounces Parmesan cheese ((1-1/2 cups) divided)
  • 2 Eggs (large)
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil (extra virgin)
  • 5 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 28 ounces Tomato sauce
  • 14.5 ounces Diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano (dried)
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Basil (chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 8 ounces Whole-milk mozzarella cheese **(see notes) (Cut into 1/4-inch pieces (1-1/2 cups) divided )
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
  • 1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 3 Garlic Cloves (minces)
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil (extra virgin)
  • Parsley or Basil (or both) (minced)

Instruction

  • Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 350℉.
