Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tblsp milk
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking sooda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, white, chopped,
Instruction
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare a lightly greased rimmed baking sheet and set it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl beat shortening, brown sugar, milk, eggs and vanilla until well blended.
- Gradually add flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda on low speed until blended. Do not over mix.
- Stir in chocolate chunks.
- Make a disc that is 3/4 of an inch thick and about 2 inches wide and place it on to a lightly greased cookie sheet. Repeat until you have used up all of your batter.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until cookies are set around the edges. Cookies will appear underdone. Do not over bake.
- Allow to cool on baking sheet for at least 5 minutes and then place on a wire rack. Enjoy!
