Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 lb mild or hot Italian sausage
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 (15 oz) cans white cannellini beans (rinsed and drained)
  • 32 oz chicken broth ((I use Better than Bouillon Base))
  • 28 oz can Italian style diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instruction

  • In a large pot or dutch oven, brown the sausage. Drain. Add the garlic and sautee for one minute.
  • Add the remaining ingredients (except the basil) and simmer for 15-20 minutes to let the flavors blend. Stir in the basil and serve.
