Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 3 whole Large Firm Ripe Peaches
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/2 cups 80-100 proof Whisky

Instruction

  • Peel, pit and slice peaches. Fill 2 24 ounce jars with sliced peaches until fill line.
  • In a medium saucepan whisk together sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and whisky.
  • Fill jars with whisky mixture to cover peaches until fill line.
  • Cover and seal jars.
  • Refrigerate for at least 48 hours before starting to enjoy.
