- 3 oz unsweetened cocoa powder (1 cup sifted)
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 oz unsalted butter
- 7.5 oz brown sugar (1 cup packed)
- 5.5 oz light corn syrup (1/2 cup)
- 7 oz sweetened condensed milk (1/2 cup)
- 2 tbsp cream ( or whole milk)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2-1 tsp salt (to taste)
- 9 egg whites (at room temperature)
- 14 oz granulated sugar (2 cups)
- 1 lb unsalted butter (softened but still quite cool)
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup thick salted caramel sauce ( (homemade or store-bought))
- 4 oz bittersweet chocolate (finely chopped)
- 1 lb chocolate candy coating melts (I used Merckens brand)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
