Ingredients
The following ingredients have 5 Servings
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 29 ounce can tomato sauce
- 15 ounce can kidney beans (with liquid)
- 30 ounce canned pinto beans (with liquid)
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 1 green pepper (diced)
- 1 stalk celery (diced)
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups water
Instruction
- 1. Brown ground beef in a large pot (I used my 7.25 qt Dutch oven) over medium heat.
- 2. Drain off the fat.
- 3. Combine the beef plus all the remaining ingredients, and bring to a simmer over low heat.
- 4. Cook, stirring every 15 minutes, for 2 to 3 hours.
