Ingredients

The following ingredients have 32 Servings
  • 2¾ cup bread flour
  • 1 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ cups water (room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon bread flour

Instruction

  • In a large bowl, 2 ¾ cups of bread flour, white whole wheat flour, instant yeast, and salt.
  • Using a whisk, whisk to mix well.
  • Add in room temperature water, and mix to form a sticky dough.
  • Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap, and set aside in a room temperature place for 8 to 10 hours, or until the size of the dough has doubled.
  • Separate the dough in 8 equal sized pieces, approximately 4 ounces each.
  • Form each of the 8 dough sections into balls.
  • Sprinkle the 1 tablespoon of bread flour over the dough balls.
  • Using plastic wrap, loosely cover the dough balls.
  • Prepare a flat surface by lightly flouring.
  • Place one of the dough balls on the prepared surface, lightly sprinkle flour on top of the dough.
  • Place parchment paper on top of the dough ball.
  • Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into an approximate 8 inch circle.
  • Repeat with the rest of the dough balls.
