Ingredients
The following ingredients have 32 Servings
- 2¾ cup bread flour
- 1 cup white whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1½ cups water (room temperature)
- 1 tablespoon bread flour
Instruction
- In a large bowl, 2 ¾ cups of bread flour, white whole wheat flour, instant yeast, and salt.
- Using a whisk, whisk to mix well.
- Add in room temperature water, and mix to form a sticky dough.
- Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap, and set aside in a room temperature place for 8 to 10 hours, or until the size of the dough has doubled.
- Separate the dough in 8 equal sized pieces, approximately 4 ounces each.
- Form each of the 8 dough sections into balls.
- Sprinkle the 1 tablespoon of bread flour over the dough balls.
- Using plastic wrap, loosely cover the dough balls.
- Prepare a flat surface by lightly flouring.
- Place one of the dough balls on the prepared surface, lightly sprinkle flour on top of the dough.
- Place parchment paper on top of the dough ball.
- Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into an approximate 8 inch circle.
- Repeat with the rest of the dough balls.
