Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 Pam cooking spray - butter-flavored (to coat)
  • ¾ cup whole wheat flour
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ tbsp baking powder
  • ½ cup skim milk or water
  • 1 whole egg white (lightly beaten)
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp artificial sweetener

Instruction

  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, add flour, sugar substitute, baking powder and cinnamon. Mix well.
  • In a large mixing bowl, stir-in applesauce, skim milk, and egg white. Mix well
  • Slowly stir in the dry mixture to the wet mixture until smooth with no lumps. Thin the batter if needed by adding 1 tablespoon of water to the batter and stirring in. Add more as desired.
  • Heat the griddle or skillet. Spray with Butter Flavored Pam Cooking Spray
  • Carefully drop batter onto heated griddle by 2 heaping tablespoons per pancake and using the back of the spoon, spread the batter a little to thin the pancake.
  • Cook the pancake until lightly golden, Using a spatula, flip the pancake and cook the other side. Continue for the rest of the pancakes.
