Ingredients

The following ingredients have 3 Servings
  • ¾ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg white (lightly beaten)
  • ½ cup buttermilk - fat-free
  • ⅕ cup applesauce - unsweetened
  • 1 to 1½ tsp no calorie sweetener (to taste)

Instruction

  • In a mixing bowl, add all ingredients. Mix well until it's smooth.
  • If the batter is too thick for your liking, mix in water by tablespoonfuls (add 1 then mix before adding more) until it's as you like.
  • Prepare a griddle or large skillet by heating, and spraying with butter flavored Pam cooking spray.
  • Drop batter by 2 heaping tablespoons full onto griddle. When the bottom is golden, carefully flip the pancake to cook the other side. Makes 6 pancakes, 3 pancakes = 1 serving.
