Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large sweet onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder, depending upon how spicy you like things!
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 14 ounce can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper

Instruction

  • Heat oil in a large deep skillet over medium high heat. Add onion and saute until tender, about 3 minutes.
  • Stir in tomato paste and spices. Add turkey and cook until crumbled and cooked through.
  • Add tomatoes and broth and simmer for 25 minutes until thick. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings!
