Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/2 cups basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 8 cups field greens (or lettuce of choice)
  • 2 cups diced watermelon
  • 6 oz crumbled feta cheese
  • 12 slices candied bacon (your recipe or link to recipe in post above) (crumbled)

Instruction

  • Put the basil leaves, olive oil, vinegar, garlic, sugar, kosher salt, and pepper in a blender or food processor. Blend until mixed.
  • Divide the lettuce evenly between 4 plates or bowls and top with the diced watermelon, feta cheese, candied bacon crumbles, and top each with the basil vinaigrette.
