Ingredients
The following ingredients have 16 Servings
- 4 cup(s) peeled seeded and diced roma or plum tomatoes
- 1 cup(s) diced white onion
- 2 teaspoon(s) minced garlic
- 1/3 cup(s) olive oil
- 2 tablespoon(s) balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
- 2 tablespoon(s) sugar
- 1 pound(s) bluelump crabmeat, picked over for shells
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cracked black pepper
- 1/3 cup(s) minced fresh basil
- 2 - baguettes, sliced and toasted
Instruction
- Combine tomatoes, onions, garlic, oil, vinegar, oregano and sugar in 4 1/2 quart crock pot or slow cooker. Cover, cook on low for 2 hours
- Add crabmeat salt and pepper. Stir gently to mix, taking care not to break up crabmeat lumps. Cook on LOW one more hour.
- Fold in basil. Serve on toasted baguette slices.
