Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 pint Brussels Sprouts, cut in half
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts, toasted
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

Instruction

  • Wash and cut brussels sprouts in half. Set aside.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add walnuts and toast for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove walnuts from skillet and set aside.
  • Heat oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper. Sautee for 5 minutes until brussels sprouts begin to carmelize. Lower heat to medium and add chopped bacon and walnuts. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Add 3/4 cup of blue cheese to the pan. Toss to coat. Remove from the pan to a serving dish. Top with remaining blue cheese.
