Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb. pork shoulder or butt, cut into bite sizes
  • 1 Tbs mirin
  • 1 Tbs sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbs chopped garlic
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbs cooking oil
  • 1 Tbs soy sauce
  • 4 to 5 Serrano, jalapeno or green onion, cut into 1/4 inch pieces

Instruction

  • In a mixing bowl, combine pork and next 7 ingredients (until black pepper), marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Heat a work or a skillet over high heat; add cooking oil and swirl to coat. add marinated pork, cook 8 to 10 minutes or until 3/4 way cooked and golden edges. Stir occasionally so it will cook and golden evenly.
  • Drizzle soy sauce around edge of wok, so soy sauce will evaporate right away as soon as hit wok to give smokey flavor to pork.
  • Add serrano and stir everything together about 1 minute. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds if you like. Enjoy!
