Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 (12 oz) roll breakfast sausage
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 Green onions (sliced)
- 1 (8 oz) bag shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 (12 oz) package frozen Homestyle Ego Waffles (cut into 1-inch cubes (10 waffles))
- maple syrup
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cook sausage over medium heat, breaking it up as you go, in an oven safe 10 inch cast iron skillet.*
- Once cooked, drain the fat (leave just enough to grease the pan, so food doesn't stick), and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in green onions, cheese, waffle cubes, and cooked sausage.
- Pour into skillet and bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven.
- Cover with tin foil and bake an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve with maple syrup and enjoy!
