The following ingredients have 4 Servings

  • 4 cups (1 litre) game stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) coarsely ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) flour
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) red currant jelly
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) 35% or 15% cooking cream
  • 6 venison steaks, 6 oz (175g) each
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) butter
