Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 12 ounce(s) vegetarian meat (i use yves)
- 1 cup(s) quick oats
- 3/4 cup(s) milk
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup(s) onion finely diced
- - salt, to taste
- - pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- 2 package(s) brown gravy
- - flour
- - cooking oil
Instruction
- Combine quick oats, milk and egg. Allow to set a few minutes so oatmeal can absorb milk and egg.
- Next add vegetarian meat crumbles into mix. Stir add salt, pepper, garlic and onion. Mix.
- Form mix into six equal sized balls.
- Roll ball in flour coating well. Then flatten into patty. Add more flour if necessary. (This helps keep burger from crumbling!!)
- Place in frying pan over medium heat. Fry until golden brown. (Make sure when you flip burger there is enough oil. If there isn't, add more!) Place in dish.
- Follow directions on packets of brown gravy mix. Cover the patties well. Enjoy!
