Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 12 ounce(s) vegetarian meat (i use yves)
  • 1 cup(s) quick oats
  • 3/4 cup(s) milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup(s) onion finely diced
  • - salt, to taste
  • - pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
  • 2 package(s) brown gravy
  • - flour
  • - cooking oil

Instruction

  • Combine quick oats, milk and egg. Allow to set a few minutes so oatmeal can absorb milk and egg.
  • Next add vegetarian meat crumbles into mix. Stir add salt, pepper, garlic and onion. Mix.
  • Form mix into six equal sized balls.
  • Roll ball in flour coating well. Then flatten into patty. Add more flour if necessary. (This helps keep burger from crumbling!!)
  • Place in frying pan over medium heat. Fry until golden brown. (Make sure when you flip burger there is enough oil. If there isn't, add more!) Place in dish.
  • Follow directions on packets of brown gravy mix. Cover the patties well. Enjoy!
