  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 10 oz. cremini mushrooms, (sliced)
  • 1 medium onion, (chopped)
  • 3 garlic cloves, (minced)
  • 1 15 oz. can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 cup raw cashews, (soaked in water 4-8 hours and drained)
  • 3/4 to 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper hot sauce, (or to taste)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. pickle relish
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 to 6 burger buns, (sliced open)
