- 1 cup raw cashews, (soaked in water 4-8 hours, rinsed and drained)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup unfavored non-dairy milk
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, (or to taste)
- 3 1/2 ounces firm or extra firm tofu (one fourth of a 14 ounce package), (drained)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, (or to taste)
