Ingredients
The following ingredients have 18 Servings
- 1 chamomile tea bag
- ⅓ cup agave nectar syrup ((or maple syrup))
- 1 cup vegan butter, (softened)
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Instruction
- Add roughly 2 teaspoons of water to a small bowl. Microwave a few seconds until the water is fairly warm, but not hot. Add the tea bag, pushing it around in the water until the tea is saturated.
- Pour the agave syrup in another bowl. Gently squeeze the tea bag over the syrup, releasing the chamomile flavor. Stir the syrup. Take a test and see if you don't agree this tastes like honey!
- Add vegan butter to a mixing bowl. Beat for one minute on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Add vegan honey and salt. Beat on low speed to mix the two.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl, then turn up the speed to medium and beat until fluffy.
- Transfer to an airtight container and keep refrigerated. It will keep up to 2 weeks when stored properly. Serve softened honey butter over your favorite slices of bread, cornbread, dinner rolls, or english muffins.
