The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank's RedHot Sauce)
- 2 cups unsweetened unflavored plant-based milk
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1/4 cup hot sauce (Frank's RedHot Sauce)
- 1 tsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp fine pink Himalayan salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp sweet or smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cup all-purpose flour (or all purpose gluten free flour blend)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp creole-cajun seasoning
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp fine pink Himalayan salt (or to taste)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 lb fresh oyster mushrooms (broken into large pieces)
- Neutral oil for frying (rice bran oil was used in the recipe)
