Ingredients
The following ingredients have 10 Servings
- 1/2 cup (115g) dairy-free butter
- 1 cup (85g) oats
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- ½ tsp orange zest
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup (100g) plain (all purpose) flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 125 g powdered icing sugar ((confectioner's))
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 180C/350F. Lightly grease a loaf pan.
- In a large saucepan over a low heat, melt the butter/spread.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the oats, sugar, cocoa, orange juice, zest and salt, mixing until completely combined.
- Stir in the baking powder and the flour, a little bit at a time.
- Pour into the prepared pan and gently press down. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and leave in the tin to cool.
