The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 3/4 cup pitted dates, soaked in warm water to cover for 10 minutes; reserve liquid
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Instruction

  • Place dates in a high-speed blender or food processor with 2 tablespoons of the reserved soaking liquid. 
  • Add almond butter, vanilla and cocoa powder, and purée until smooth, adding 1 to 2 more tablespoons of the soaking liquid until the mixture becomes thick and smooth. 
  • Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 weeks.
