Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 8 medium potatoes (peeled)
  • 1 pound /500g veal (thinly sliced)
  • garlic aioli mayo
  • mayonaise
  • 3 small onions (quartered and thinly sliced)
  • ¼ lb /250g mushrooms (sliced)
  • ½ lb /250g grated cheese (cheddar)
  • salt and pepper
  • vegetable oil

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C. Lightly oil a rectangular baking pan.
  • Cut the potatoes in half, thinly slicing to maximum ¼ inch thick pieces. Layer the potatoes evenly in the baking pan. Add salt and pepper.
  • Cut the onions into quarters and thinly slice. Separate the onion pieces from each other. Layer half the onions over the potatoes. Generously drizzle with Garlic Aioli Mayo.
  • Layer the thin veal pieces across the pan. Add salt and pepper.
  • Add the mushrooms and onions over the meat. Drizzle with mayonnaise and spread until covered evenly.
  • Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with grated cheese and bake again for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
