Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 8 medium potatoes (peeled)
- 1 pound /500g veal (thinly sliced)
- garlic aioli mayo
- mayonaise
- 3 small onions (quartered and thinly sliced)
- ¼ lb /250g mushrooms (sliced)
- ½ lb /250g grated cheese (cheddar)
- salt and pepper
- vegetable oil
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C. Lightly oil a rectangular baking pan.
- Cut the potatoes in half, thinly slicing to maximum ¼ inch thick pieces. Layer the potatoes evenly in the baking pan. Add salt and pepper.
- Cut the onions into quarters and thinly slice. Separate the onion pieces from each other. Layer half the onions over the potatoes. Generously drizzle with Garlic Aioli Mayo.
- Layer the thin veal pieces across the pan. Add salt and pepper.
- Add the mushrooms and onions over the meat. Drizzle with mayonnaise and spread until covered evenly.
- Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with grated cheese and bake again for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
