- 1 cup (62.5 g) water
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
Instruction
- To a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, add water and sugar.
- Bring to a boil and stir until all sugar has dissolved (2-3 minutes).
- Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
- Allow the syrup to cool. Then, place it in an airtight container to store in the refrigerator. This recipe makes about 1½ cups of vanilla syrup.
