Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 tbsp very soft butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract or paste
  • 1/2 cup self-raising flour
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • Whipped cream, to serve
  • Sprinkles, to serve

Instruction

  • Whisk butter, egg and sugar in a 350ml capacity mug until pale. Add the remaining ingredients and whisk to combine.
  • Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until cake has puffed up and cooked in the centre. Leave to sit for 2 minutes.
  • Serve with whipped cream or butter cream and finish with sprinkles.
