Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 cooked turkey shredded
  • 4 green chilies diced
  • ¼ water
  • 1 taco seasoning
  • 1 cheddar cheese shredded
  • lettuce shredded
  • salsa

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a large skillet add the water, shredded turkey, green chilies, and taco seasoning. Cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until the turkey is reheated.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.
  • On an ungreased large cookie sheet, arrange crescent dough triangles in a ring so the short sides of triangles form a 6-inch circle in the center. (Place a small bowl in the center to help with arranging the crescent dough). The dough will overlap.
  • Spoon turkey meat over the wide section of the roll close to the center. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bring each triangle tip up over the filling, tucking it under the bottom layer of dough to secure it.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the ring turns a golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Place a bowl of salsa in the center of the ring for dipping.
  • Garnish with shredded lettuce, if desired.
