Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 cooked turkey shredded
- 4 green chilies diced
- ¼ water
- 1 taco seasoning
- 1 cheddar cheese shredded
- lettuce shredded
- salsa
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet add the water, shredded turkey, green chilies, and taco seasoning. Cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until the turkey is reheated.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- On an ungreased large cookie sheet, arrange crescent dough triangles in a ring so the short sides of triangles form a 6-inch circle in the center. (Place a small bowl in the center to help with arranging the crescent dough). The dough will overlap.
- Spoon turkey meat over the wide section of the roll close to the center. Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bring each triangle tip up over the filling, tucking it under the bottom layer of dough to secure it.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the ring turns a golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Place a bowl of salsa in the center of the ring for dipping.
- Garnish with shredded lettuce, if desired.
