Ingredients
The following ingredients have 2 Servings
- 2 cups shredded turkey breast (without skin and bone)
- 4 slices sandwich bread
- 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
- 6 oz bacon (or six strips)
- 2 tbsp chopped celery
- 1/4 tsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp dill (optional)
- 4 tomato slices (optional)
- 2 lettuce leaves (optional)
Instruction
- First, preheat oven to 375F.
- Next, put bacon strips on a baking sheet and put in oven for 15-20 min or until desired crispiness. You may also cook in microwave for 5 min.
- Then, drain bacon on paper towels.
- Next, cut 2 bacon strips into bite size pieces.
- Meanwhile, in a medium sized mixing bowl add all ingredients (except tomato and lettuce if using) and stir until well combined.
- Refrigerate 30 minutes.
- For each sandwich: Spread turkey salad onto one side of one slice of bread. Top with two bacon slices. Add tomato and lettuce if desired. Add one more slice of bread. Cut in half if you prefer.
