Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 nests of wholemeal noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 300 g cooked turkey (sliced thinly)
  • 1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 red pepper (sliced thinly)
  • 110 g white mushrooms (sliced thinly)
  • 4 spring onions (sliced)
  • 120 g beansprouts
  • 225 g tin water chestnuts (drained*)
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp sesame seeds

Instruction

  • Place the wholemeal noodles in a bowl, pour over boiling water and leave for 4 minutes? To stand.
  • Heat the oil in a wok / large frying pan then add the turkey, garlic, red pepper, mushrooms, spring onions, beansprouts and water chestnuts. Stir fry for 5 – 6 minutes.
  • Tip the wholemeal noodles into a sieve to drain the water thoroughly give them a shake and then add them to the wok combining them well into the rest of the ingredients and stir fry for a further 5 – 6 minutes.
  • Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil and combine well into the stir fry.
  • Divide amongst plates and serve with the sesame seeds sprinkled over.
