Ingredients

The following ingredients have 3 Servings
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup dried bread crumbs preferably whole-grain panko
  • 3 TBLS finely chopped onion
  • 2 TBLS ketchup
  • 1 TBLS lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce (we used reduced sodium)
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika or smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce (Tabasco)
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instruction

  • 1. Combine all ingredients, and shape the mixture into 3 large patties. 2. Fry, broil, or grill the burgers until they are done, about 5 minutes a side. 3. Serve in whole wheat pitas with lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Enjoy!
