Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 medium onion (diced )
  • 1 large carrot (grated)
  • 1 lbs turkey breast
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp dry oregano
  • 29 oz can of peas
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • water 
  • Non stick skillet
  • bowl
  • pot with a lid
  • bamboo spoon
  • sharp knife
  • vegetable grater

Instruction

  • In a non stick skillet, heat 2 tbsp oil then saute onions until glassy. Add carrots and cook for 2 more minutes, stirring.
  • Dice turkey breast and transfer to a bowl. 
  • Add 1 tbsp oil, salt and pepper and dry oregano. Mix well to coat evenly.
  • In a non stick skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil then cook turkey until golden, on both sides.
  • Drain the peas and rinse well.
  • Transfer to a pot and top with cooked turkey and the carrots onion mix.
  • Add water just enough to cover the ingredients
  • Add bay leaves.
  • Then cover with a lid.
  • Bring to a boil then simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Add tomato paste and stir to dissolve.
  • Keep simmering, uncovered, until some of the water dissolves, about 10 more minutes.
