Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/4 pounds ground turkey (Mixture of ground white meat and dark meat. )
  • 1/2 Cup sweet onion (minced)
  • 1/4 Cup fresh basil leaves (chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes (crushed)
  • Fresh ground pepper to taste
  • 2 Tablespoon panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg (slightly beaten)
  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil

Instruction

  • Mix all ingredients together, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, or overnight.
  • Shape the turkey mixture into 12 patties, about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet, and brown the patties, over medium heat, on both sides, about 2 minutes per side. Reduce the heat to medium, cover the skillet and cook turning occasionally until they are crisp and cooked through and no longer pink on the inside. About 6 minutes.
