Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 185 g canned tuna in oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 tbs capers
  • 1/2 cup kalamata olives
  • 400 g canned diced tomato
  • 500 g penne
  • 1 pinch pepper *optional

Instruction

  • Boil a large pan of water for pasta.
  • Heat oil in frying pan.
  • Add garlic and fry for 1 minute on low heat so that garlic does not burn.
  • Add canned tuna and break up gently.
  • Add white wine and heat through on a medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add canned tomatoes, capers and olives and stir through on high. Once all ingredients mixed through, reduce heat to simmer.
  • Once water has boiled, cook pasta as directed on packet.
  • Pour sauce over cooked pasta and add black pepper as desired.
