Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tbs oil
- 185 g canned tuna in oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 tbs capers
- 1/2 cup kalamata olives
- 400 g canned diced tomato
- 500 g penne
- 1 pinch pepper *optional
Instruction
- Boil a large pan of water for pasta.
- Heat oil in frying pan.
- Add garlic and fry for 1 minute on low heat so that garlic does not burn.
- Add canned tuna and break up gently.
- Add white wine and heat through on a medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
- Add canned tomatoes, capers and olives and stir through on high. Once all ingredients mixed through, reduce heat to simmer.
- Once water has boiled, cook pasta as directed on packet.
- Pour sauce over cooked pasta and add black pepper as desired.
