Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 1 1/2 cups tropical fruit or fruit of choice (Ex: 4 kiwi fruit, 1 large mango, or 2 small tangerines; sliced & peeled)
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 lime or lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon agave or maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon water or pineapple juice for extra sweet flavor

Instruction

  • Peel the fruit. Place in a food processor or blender along with remaining fruit and juice. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  • Pour evenly onto dehydrator tray. If using an oven, will need to use a baking sheet with a non-stick baking sheet on it. See notes for oven recipe.
  • For the dehydrator recipe: simply cover and turn on 135 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 hours. (See notes for OVEN OPTION)
  • Once consistency is of your liking for fruit roll ups, turn off the dehydrator. Make sure they aren’t sticky in the middle first.
  • Let the fruit batter cool.
  • Peel off the fruit and place on parchment paper
  • Cut into strips with a pizza cutter.
  • Next take wax paper or parchment paper and place along the strips.
  • Roll it up and use a string to hold together or simply press the ends to the parchment paper.
  • Store in airtight container.
