Ingredients
The following ingredients have 3 Servings
- 4 cups fresh rhubarb (diced)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 1 cup fresh (or frozen raspberries)
- 1 cup fresh (or frozen blueberries)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Waffles (pancakes or ice cream for serving.)
Instruction
- Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until fruit starts to break down. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and let sauce simmer 15-20 minutes or until thickened and fruit is completely broken down.
- Serve sauce warm or cold with waffles, pancakes or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
