Ingredients

The following ingredients have 3 Servings
  • 4 cups fresh rhubarb (diced)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 cup fresh (or frozen raspberries)
  • 1 cup fresh (or frozen blueberries)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Waffles (pancakes or ice cream for serving.)

Instruction

  • Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until fruit starts to break down. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and let sauce simmer 15-20 minutes or until thickened and fruit is completely broken down.
  • Serve sauce warm or cold with waffles, pancakes or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
