Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 1 Tbs garlic (minced)
- 2 14.5oz cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 1 Tbs dried basil ((or use italian seasoning))
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1.5 cups cooked brown rice
Instruction
- In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil and cook the garlic for 30 seconds - do not brown or burn!!
- Add the tomatoes, stock and seasonings and bring to a simmer.
- Add cooked brown rice and heat through.
- Check for seasoning and adjust.
- Devour.
