The following ingredients have 4 Servings

- 2 to 3 dry red chilies (- broken and deseeded)
- 1 teaspoon urad dal ((split and husked black gram))
- 4 to 5 black pepper
- 1 to 2 cloves (- optional, )
- 1 pinch asafoetida ((hing) - optional)
- 2 tablespoon water for grinding (- add 1 or 2 tablespoon more if required)
- ½ tablespoon oil
- salt as required

- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 to 3 fenugreek seeds ((methi seeds))
