Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 10-15 medium or large button mushrooms (stem removed)
  • 1/4 box of firm tofu
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped bamboo shoots
  • 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Thai Chili Sauce
  • 2 teaspoon chopped basil
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup Japanese panko
  • Sriracha hot sauce to taste (optional)

Instruction

  • Place a kitchen towel on the counter and place the tofu on top. Put a heavy item, such as a small pot, on top of the tofu for one hour to squeeze out excess water. Mash the tofu with the spoon.
  • Mix mashed tofu with cheese, bamboo shoots, oyster sauce, Thai chili sauce, chopped basil, and a beaten egg. Scoop the mixture into the mushroom. Sprinkle some panko and pat it down. Air fry at 400F (200C) for 6-7 minutes.
  • Top with a little Sriracha to serve.
