Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 15 oz. extra firm tofu (drained and pressed)
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/4 cup low sodium gluten free tamari
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instruction

  • Slice tofu about 1/8" thick.  
  • Mix marinade ingredients (except olive oil). Pour over tofu and let sit for at least an hour to overnight.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Place marinated tofu in pan, and cook for several minutes on each side. Spoon some of the marinade on top. Cook both sides until crispy.
