Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
- 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 2 Cup Heath Toffee Bits
- 3 Egg Whites
- 1/2 Cup White Sugar
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla extract.
- Add mixture of flour, soda and salt and mix well.
- Press into an ungreased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle heath bits over the top of the cookie base and press lightly.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add sugar gradually, beating constantly until stiff. Spread on the hot cookie base.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly and cut into bars.
