Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Cup Heath Toffee Bits
  • 3 Egg Whites
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cream butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla extract.
  • Add mixture of flour, soda and salt and mix well.
  • Press into an ungreased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle heath bits over the top of the cookie base and press lightly.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add sugar gradually, beating constantly until stiff. Spread on the hot cookie base.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly and cut into bars.
