Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups self-rising cornmeal mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4-1/3 cup honey
- 2 Tablespoons butter
Instruction
- Mix all ingredients except butter in a bowl until well blended.
- Pour into a greased 8.5"X4.5" loaf pan and bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool on rack 5 minutes before removing from pan.
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
- Slice cornbread into approximately 3/4" slices and brown on each side in buttered skillet.
