Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup sugar (superfine)
- 1 cup water
- 4 thyme sprigs
Instruction
- Stir the water and sugar together in a non reactive pan over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Let simmer for about 2 minutes. Rub the thyme leaves between your hands as you drop them into the water/sugar mixture. Remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes
- Strain through a fine sieve to remove the thyme leaves into a sterilized jar. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
