Ingredients
The following ingredients have 24 Servings
- 1 cup butter (, softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups uncooked regular oats
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 4 ounces milk chocolate candy bar (, coarsely chopped (or about 1/2 cup of chocolate chunks))
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375° and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Measure oats, and blend in a blender or food processor to a fine powder - set aside. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with the ground up oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips, milk chocolate bar, and pecans.
- Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly on baking sheets. Then, remove to wire racks to cool completely.
