Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3/4 cup granualted sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2.25 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (We prefer Ghiradelli)
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Using a large mixing bowl, combine sugars, butter, vanilla and egg. Fold in flour, baking soda and salt. If using a stand mixer, mix on low setting.
- Using ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Allow to cool slightly and place on wire rack.
