  • 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 2-inch piece of ginger, peeled and minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 (14.5-oz.) can chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cups heavy cream (or one 14.5-oz. can coconut milk)
  • 1 Tablespoon Garam Masala
  • 1 Tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 Tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
