Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 + 1/2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using a stand mixer or an electric hand mixer. Add in the egg and vanilla and continue to beat until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the flour, oats, baking soda and salt and beat on low until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop out 1-2 tablespoons of dough and place onto a lined cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown on the edges. Cool on a wire rack or eat right out of the oven!
