Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 - 1/2 lb skirt steak (thinly sliced )
- 1 onion (sliced lengthwise )
- 4 cloves garlic (minced or sliced)
- 1 red bell pepper (sliced lengthwise)
- 1 green bell pepper (sliced lengthwise )
- 2 oz fresh Thai basil or sweet basil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Instruction
- Slice skirt steak as thinly as possible then season well with sea salt and pepper
- Heat oil in a wok pan or large cast iron skillet. When the pan is hot add in beef in a single layer. Cook for about 4-6 minutes on each side or until the beef is nice and browned. *do not stir the beef* Transfer beef to a plate.
- Add the onion, garlic and bell peppers and sauté until softened.
- and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
- Push veggies to the sides of the pan and add beef back in.
- Top with Thai basil and toss toss toss to combine until basil has wilted (about 2-3 minutes)
