Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 Eggs scrambled with 2 chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup cooked and diced Chinese sausage or any other types of sausage or bacon
- Extra shredded cheddar cheese for stuffing
- 1/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce or Unagi Sauce
- Sesame seeds to garnish
Instruction
- Mix 3 cups of cooked white rice with 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Line saran wraps in a bowl (or a cup) then scoop white rice into the bowl. Use the back of a spoon spread the rice over the inner surface of the bowl so the center becomes hollow. Then, put some eggs, cheese, and sausage into the bowl.
- Pick the saran wrap up from the bowl. While holding the rice ball in one hand, use the other to twist the saran wrap tightly so to compact the rice into a tight ball. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Place an aluminum foil into the air fryer basket and spray some oil on it. Then, carefully remove the saran wrap and gently put the rice ball into the air fryer. Brush the teriyaki sauce to the top half of the rice ball and sprinkle some sesame seeds. Air fry at 380F (190C) for 3 minutes.
- Pull the fryer basket out and brush another layer of the teriyaki sauce onto the rice balls and air fry again at 380F (190C) for 3 minutes.
- Garnish with some scallions to serve.
