Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 package Sun Bird Teriyaki seasoning ((about 2 tsps) reserve remaining seasoning for sauce)
- 2 Tbsps sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsps pure sesame oil
Instruction
- Mix the seasoning in the ground beef and stir until it is evenly distributed.
- Fill a tablespoon with the meat and form into a small firm ball.
- Toast sesame seeds in dry sauce pan over medium high heat. (about 7 minutes)
- When ready to cook, heat the sesame oil in a sauce pan. Position the meatballs so they are not touching each other. You may have to do this in 2 batches depending on the size of your pan. Fry the meat balls. Don't stir them for the first 5 minutes or so, until they have formed a brown crust on the bottom. Then gently turn them over and finish frying.
- Sprinkle the cooked meatballs with toasted sesame seeds.
- Serve with dipping sauce.
