Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 pears ((I used Bosc))
- 1 cup tequila
- 1 1/4 cup pear nectar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instruction
- Peel the skin from the whole pear with a vegetable peeler; leaving the fruit whole. Slice a thin layer off of the bottom of the pear so that it sits flat; then place in a crock pot.
- Add the tequila, pear juice, sugar and lime juice to a small saucepan. Heat over high heat 3-4 minutes until the sugar is dissolved; then pour over the pears.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high 2-3 hours.
